In a pioneering step reflecting the strategic direction toward the smart transformation of the judicial system and the enhancement of the efficiency of the judicial system, Dubai Courts announced the launch of the “Judicial Control Room” to enhance judicial work efficiency, strengthen transparency, and accelerate responsiveness through round-the-clock operational and technical support. This initiative constitutes a qualitative advancement in the development of the digital infrastructure of the justice system through the utilization of AI technologies and predictive analytics to support decision-makers and improve the efficiency of judicial processes. . This initiative embodies Dubai Courts’ vision to achieve leadership and judicial justice for a global city through an integrated judicial system that delivers innovative and expeditious services in accordance with the highest standards. The strategy is grounded in a set of established institutional values, including justice, judicial independence, integrity, flexibility, and integration, which form the foundation for strengthening local and international confidence in the judicial system. The strategy is based on core pillars, namely : improving judicial performance by developing judges’ skills and enhancing the quality of judgments; providing integrated judicial services that ensure access to justice and meet the needs of society; strengthening institutional capacity through the development of human resources and the modernization of organizational structures; and advancing digital transformation through an advanced digital judicial system that expedites procedures and enhances the efficiency of litigation.Through these continued efforts, Dubai Courts affirms its ongoing commitment to the delivery of prompt justice and the provision of leading judicial services that support Dubai’s vision as a global hub for judicial excellence. . This initiative is introduced in line with Dubai Courts’ new Strategic Plan 2025–2029, approved by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Judicial Council of the Emirate of Dubai. The Control Room reflects Dubai Courts’ commitment to adopting sustainable solutions capable of keeping pace with population growth and rapid urban development in the Emirate, thereby ensuring accessible justice for all members of society. This was announced during the inauguration ceremony held at the Labour Court and Execution Building of Dubai Courts, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts; H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Judicial Council; H.E. Judge Omar Miran, Deputy Director-General of Dubai Courts; Judge Khaled Yahya Al Hosani, Head of the Courts of First Instance، Judge Khaled Obaid Al Mansoori, President of the Execution Court at Dubai Courts;; His Excellency Ibrahim Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Settlement and Execution Sector at Dubai Courts; and a number of officials. . . . The Control Room enables concerned stakeholders to monitor all judicial operations and procedures. It also provides interactive reports and real-time performance indicators that enable decision-makers to anticipate potential issues and take proactive corrective actions. . A Qualitative LeapHis Excellency Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi expressed his pride in the launch of this innovative initiative, affirming that it represents a practical translation of the vision of the wise leadership and the outcome of the support of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Judicial Council in Dubai. He further highlighted His Highness’s directives to exert utmost efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the judicial system and to develop its digital and operational infrastructure. He noted that the Control Room will support ongoing efforts, strengthen oversight, and advance judicial services, thereby contributing to the unification of vision and the coordination of efforts to achieve a more efficient and just judiciary. . Proactive Responsiveness . H.E. Judge Khaled Al Mansoori stated that the project represents a fundamental transformation in the management of execution case files, enabling real-time performance monitoring and more effective decision-making. He added : “Today, we are transitioning in our operational mechanisms to a system based on smart control and proactive responsiveness, which directly contributes to expediting the enforcement of rights and the delivery of prompt justice.” He further affirmed that the Control Room enhances the efficiency of judicial resource allocation and contributes to reducing procedural errors, thereby improving the overall quality of judicial outputs. Strategic Platform H.E. Ibrahim Al Hosani affirmed the integration of institutional efforts in support of this project, noting that the Control Room represents a strategic platform for smart operations and the monitoring of judicial and administrative performance. He indicated that the Judicial Control Room enables departments to take well-informed decisions based on real-time data, opening new horizons for performance enhancement and strengthening public confidence in the judicial system. He further noted that the platform will serve as a continuous innovation hub for the adoption of new digital solutions, enabling Dubai Courts to further develop its services in line with evolving demands. .
