Inheritance

This service allows the heirs to avail themselves of the services provided by the Court of Inheritance. This includes opening inheritance file and filing different sub-cases (civil, commercial, real estate and personal status). A final judgment is issued accordingly and the same is appealable before the Appeal Department at Court of Inheritance.

Documents
Succession Files 1-Upload online inheritance inventory sheet ( Application ) and document docket that includes (supporting documents): - Duly attested Death certificate - Copies of the heirs' passports - Emirates ID card for the heirs - Heirs' data (address and mobile phone number) 2- Download Succession certificate online in PDF format. Private Inheritance Cases (civil - commercial - real estate - personal status Upload petition and the attached document that includes (supporting documents) electronically. Upload the decision of the preparatory judge to authorize the registration of the case in PDF format. (Except to probate of will for non-Muslims cases/ sale of residential property owned by the heirs / dissolution of joint ownership of properties registered in the name of the heirs / cases filed by the Awqaf Foundation and the Department of Minors' Funds according to the regulations mentioned in paragraph 7 of Resolution No. 4/2023 issued by the Inheritance Court Chief Justice Upload a certificate issued by the Land Department it was unable to reach to settlement between the heirs by regarding the sale of the residential property located in the Emirate of Dubai owned by the heirs who are citizens of the Emirate of Dubai and title deed with their names.
Conditions
• Issuance of a decision to authorize the registration of a case by the case preparation judge for the following types: (civil, commercial, real estate, and personal status), except for the exempted cases indicated in the documents and papers column. • Register the case within one month from the issuance of the decision, with payment of the fees shown in schedule for inheritance cases. All documents must be digital and in PDF format and if the documents are in a foreign language, it should be legally translated into Arabic and certified by the Ministry of Justice in the UAE. If the document are issued from outside the country, they must be authenticated by the official authorities: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the relevant country, the UAE Embassy in the relevant country, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates. has context menu
