Commemoration Day is a national occasion through which we express our pride in the noble legacy of the UAE's brave soldiers who have written the finest epics of courage and heroism in the fields of honor and sacrifice. They remained true to their pledge before God and stood as a steadfast shield in defense of their nation.. This day embodies the highest meaning of reverence for the noble deeds and heroic sacrifices of our martyrs, who gave their pure lives on the grounds of glory and shed their blessed blood in fulfilment of their sacred duty, so that we may enjoy security and stability. This occasion carries a profound message of gratitude to the families of the martyrs, who instilled in their children the values of patriotism, belonging, and pride in the nation's ever-rising flag.. On this day of loyalty to those who embodied the highest example of devotion to the homeland, we renew our pledge of allegiance to our wise leadership. We affirm that the memory of our nation's martyrs will remain engraved in our hearts and eternally present in our collective conscience — guiding our future generations and reinforcing within us the principles of dedication, sacrifice, and giving in the service of elevating our nation's stature and strengthening its progress.. . . .
